The Good, The Bad, The Weird

Kim Ji-woon's "The Good, The Bad, The Weird" has a very obvious inspiration. Though there are more differences than similarities between this and "Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo." One similarity is "The Bad." Lee Byung-hun's character Chang-yi is definately inspired by Lee Van Cleef's Angel Eyes. They are even made to look reasonably similar. Also in both films they are definately villainous. They are with out a doubt "The Bad." Now in both films "The Good" does have some shade of grey to him. Clint Eastwood's Man With No Name though is unarguably a good guy, where as Jung Woo-sung's Do-wan is harder to pin point, as out of the three, Do-wan has the least backstory, or charater development. His only motivation appears to be bounty hunting for money.
